Registering for the NEI website gives you access to advisor-only sales tools and content designed to help you manage your clients/practice and have deeper, more informed responsible investing conversations with your clients and prospects. NEI’s website also offers you a more personalized experience through the Advisor Dashboard that provides links to your most used content, popular sales tools, and contact details about your NEI Sales team. Registered advisors can also access online events and a history of CE credits earned by attending NEI events, both live and in person.
Financial professionals including registered advisors, assistants, branch managers, and analysts. While you do not require a dealer rep code to register, you must register with your work email address (personal email addresses hosted from Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, and others will not work).
You will no longer be able to access your old account. Any accounts created from the previous NEI website will not provide access to the new NEI Advisor experience on the new website. If you previously had an account, you will need to re-register on the new website.
The new NEI website has a new registration and authentication method that uses multi-factor authentication, a security enhancement that is common today and will be familiar to most users. As part of this update, you will now be able to self-manage your profile and password for enhanced security and accessibility. This means that only you will know your password and can make changes to it.
Advisors and financial professionals who do not register on the new NEI website will have the same level of access to the website that investors and the general public have. This includes access to fund prices and performance, information about NEI’s unique approach to responsible investing, investor-friendly marketing materials, financial calculators, educational content on responsible investing and more.
However, if you do not register, you will not be able to access advisor-only content and marketing materials; earn new CE credits or manage your existing CE credits; view or register for upcoming NEI events; and access other “advisor-only” functionality.
No, the launch of the new NEI website will have no impact on the WealthLink for advisors or investors. Users with access to WealthLink will continue to access that site using their existing credentials.
The CE credits you’ve earned over the for the last two years will be migrated to the new site. Assuming you register for the new website with same email address as you used on the old NEI website, your credits will be immediately available to you.
If you are registering with a different email address, your CE credits will not be linked automatically. In this case, contact NEI Client Services at NEIclientservices@NEIinvestments.com or 1 888 809-3333 and let them know what email you used on the old site. Our team will make the updates and your CE credits will appear in 5-7 days.
If your email address has changed (due to a company change or your company has updated their email address), we ask that you contact NEI Client Services at at NEIclientservices@NEIinvestments.com or 1 888 809-3333 to provide the new details to our team. We will make the changes to your profile and confirm to you when they have changed. Once the update to your username/email address has been completed, you will be able to access the website using your new email address and the password that you had in place previously.

Remember, to register for the NEI website, you must be a financial professional (financial advisor, assistant, manager, analyst or similar role), and have a corporate email address. Gmail, Hotmail, and other similar free e-mail addresses will not be accepted.

When transferring funds into an NEI account that is initiated by the financial advisor, please download the NEI transfer form from our website under operational forms Transfer Authorization for Registered Investments
Once completed, please send to the relinquishing institution; BMO, Fidelity, etc.
Typically, the relinquishing institution will send a cheque made payable to NEI. Once received by our back office, the funds will be invested in the requested funds on the transfer document, under the investment instructions section.

Please fill out the appropriate RESP government document, ESDC Transfer Form A (Form #SDE0100 – Part A)
Please then send this transfer document to NEI, as NEI are the receiving institution. Please enclose this transfer document with the New Account Application forms and any other Government documents needed in opening an RESP account.

To transfer out from a Client Held NEI account, please go to the receiving institutions website and download their transfer form. If the account being transfer is a RESP or Group RSP account, please forward the receiving institutions transfer document to Fax number: 1 604 683-2538. For all other accounts, please fax the transfer form to 1 877 814-6115.
Alternatively, you can forward a PDF copy of the transfer document to our NEI client solutions team (neiclientservices@neiinvestments.com ) who can coordinate with the appropriate team.

For any pending redemptions or withdrawals, please contact our NEI Client Solutions team by phone (1 888 809 3333). Once verified, you will be provided the method of redemption (EFT, Cheque) and the trade date of that redemption.

When completing a wire order, some users may receive an error that read:
“Above mentioned order has been rejected by the fund company. Rason for rejection: Transfer failed”
In these instances, please email the rejected order to our NEI Client Solutions team (neiclientservices@neiinvestments.com) and they will investigate the cause of this rejection.
RESP Account or Non-registered Account
Remove a deceased account holder from a joint account - Non Registered Joint rights of receivership account JTWROS:
Please have a Letter of Direction from the surviving spouse confirming the request to remove the deceased partner from the plan, signed.
On the Letter of Direction, the surviving spouse must include their SIN and Date of birth. Please also include the Death Certificate when submitting the request.
The account will remain open, and we will change it from a Joint to an Individual account.

Please have a copy of the Will of the deceased, an NEI declaration of Indemnity Form, Death Certificate and a Letter of direction from the executor named in the Will declaring what they wish to do with the named account holders portion of the funds.
Please provide instructions to liquidate the named account holders portion of the funds, and where to mail the estate check.
